Ladies Captain Chris wishes to thank all those members who answered her appeal to donate a bottle of wine for her raffle at the Sussex Lady Captains and SGA Spring Meeting on Thursday last. With the help of Freda Comber and Rose Norton the raffle provided a £220 profit for her
‘Guide Dogs’ Charity.

Highwoods were honoured to stage this important meeting for the first time and received glowing comments on both the course, especially the greens. Chris Higginson provided the floral arrangements to decorate their lunch whilst Sue Mead was the lonesome ball spotter on the 3rd. Both Chris and her Vice Jacqui acted as starters for the sixty strong field.

Chris commented ‘A good day for Highwoods and for my Charity’.
