Suzanne Collins successfully completes her epic ride from Eastbourne to Amsterdam
In aid of St. Michael’s Hospice
A massive congratulations to Suzanne. Along with 74 other cyclists including her husband John, they cycled 300 miles over four days across four European countries, finally arriving in Amsterdam on Saturday 22 September. All the hard work and dedicated training over the past nine months was worthwhile. However, the journey was not without incident, apart from expected punctures and bike repairs, Suzanne was involved in quite a serious crash on the third leg of the ride. Although not her fault, she did sustain a massive black eye and bruising to her body and both legs. However, Suzanne was determined to carry on and this set back did not deter her from finishing the ride. She confirmed that it was a great experience and one that she will never forget.
Suzanne raised just over £2,000 towards the overall donation of £30,000 to the hospice. Suzanne would like to thank everyone for their sponsorship and support in her achievement.
